Blown film extrusion is the foundation of everything Prime Film Extrusion produces. Resin pellets are melted and forced through a circular die, then inflated with internal air pressure into a continuous bubble. As the bubble rises and cools, it is collapsed by nip rollers into flat film, which is then wound into rolls or slit into the final format a customer needs.
What separates a good blown film line from a great one is control: of melt temperature, of bubble stability, of cooling rate, and of gauge consistency across the width of the film. Small variations in any of those variables show up downstream as seal failures, gauge bands, or optical defects, which is why our process engineers stay close to the line during every production run.
