Most film problems we get called in to solve did not start as film problems. A bag that splits on a filling line, a seal that fails in transit, a roll that will not run cleanly on a customer's existing equipment: these usually trace back to a structure that was specified generically instead of for the application it actually had to survive. Custom film structure work starts with that failure mode, not with a resin list.

We walk through how the film is actually used: what it touches, what temperature it sees, how it is filled or formed, how it is sealed, how it is handled after that, and what it has to look like on a shelf or in a case. Each of those answers narrows the structure: thickness and resin selection for puncture or tear resistance, melt index and additive package for sealing on a customer's specific equipment, slip and anti-block levels for how the film has to run through machinery, clarity or opacity for how it has to look.

From there, structure design is iterative. We build a candidate structure, run it, and test it against the actual failure mode rather than a generic industry spec sheet. If a structure passes seal testing but fails dart impact, we adjust layer composition or resin blend and run again. That loop continues until the film holds up under the conditions the customer's product will actually face, not just the conditions a standard spec assumes.

The result is a structure built for one customer's process, which is often lighter, cheaper, or more reliable than a generic film pulled off a shelf because it is not overbuilt for failure modes that were never actually a risk.
