LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene)
The original blown film resin, prized for its optical clarity, flexibility, and gentle sealing characteristics, though largely surpassed by LLDPE for pure strength.
LLDPE (Linear Low-Density Polyethylene)
The most common resin in blown film, valued for its toughness, puncture resistance, and excellent seal strength at a workable cost.
HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene)
The stiffest and strongest of the polyethylene family, used where high tensile strength and a crisp, papery feel matter more than softness or clarity.
MDPE (Medium-Density Polyethylene)
A middle ground between LLDPE and HDPE, offering improved stiffness and moisture barrier over LLDPE without HDPE's brittleness.
Metallocene LLDPE (mLLDPE)
A premium LLDPE produced with metallocene catalyst technology, delivering a narrower molecular weight distribution and a meaningfully lower, more consistent seal initiation temperature.
