Specialty & Barrier Films
EVOH, nylon, and metallized PET: high-barrier and high-strength materials used in coextruded and laminated structures where oxygen, moisture, or puncture protection beyond commodity polyethylene is required.
EVOH (Ethylene Vinyl Alcohol)
The highest-performing oxygen barrier resin in common use, but moisture-sensitive enough that it always needs to be protected inside a coextruded structure rather than run alone.
Nylon (PA)
A polyamide resin with outstanding puncture and abrasion resistance, used wherever a structure needs to survive sharp, irregular, or heavy products without a thick gauge.
Metallized PET
PET film vacuum-coated with a thin aluminum layer, combining strong moisture and light barrier with a metallic appearance, at a lower cost than foil laminates.
