Do you offer samples before a full production run?
We do not ask customers to commit to a full production run sight unseen, especially on a new structure or a resin change. Once we have agreed on a spec, we run a short sample quantity on the same equipment that would run the full order, not a lab-scale mockup. That matters because film behaves differently at production speed and width than it does from a small test die.
The sample lets you confirm seal strength, clarity, layflat dimensions, and how the film performs on your bagging or wrapping equipment before we lock in a larger run. For food-contact or barrier structures, we recommend sampling as a standard step, since small changes in resin ratio or layer thickness can change how a structure seals or blocks oxygen.
Turnaround on samples depends on queue position on the line, but we will give you a real date when we quote the job, not a vague estimate.
