Custom printed poly tubing lets you make blind bags by cutting a tube to length and heat sealing the ends. For a mystery product, ask for an opaque material and test the packed item under bright light before approving production.

Prime Film reviews custom tubing projects from our Orlando plant. If you pack by hand, send the item dimensions and your heat-sealer details. We can review the tubing and printing requirements before confirming the order minimum.

Tubing or Finished Blind Bags?

Lay flat poly tubing is a continuous tube supplied on a roll. You choose the cut length and make the seals. Finished bags arrive already cut and partly sealed. Choose based on the work your team can do for each order.

A manual launch may need flexibility in bag length. It also needs time to cut, load and seal each item. Count that handling work when comparing a tubing quote with finished bags. Printed tubing does not remove the packing step.

Test Whether the Contents Stay Hidden

A logo on clear tubing will not reliably hide a mystery item. Ask about the film's opacity as well as its print. Review a sample with the actual product inside under the lighting a customer might use.

Check both faces and the areas near the seams. A dark item may show through a material that looks opaque when empty. If concealing the item matters to the sale, make that a written approval requirement.

Size the Tube Around the Whole Item

Include the product's depth and any hanging ring or sharp corner. The printed width of a flat keychain does not describe the opening needed to load it. Leave space for handling and for both seals.

DetailWhat to send
Layflat widthDesired fold-to-fold width, or full product dimensions for a sample fit check.
Cut lengthRoom for the item and both sealed ends. Test the loading space.
Film thicknessCurrent film if known, item weight and any edges that could puncture it.
OpacityHow completely the filled package must conceal the contents.
Print placementA continuous pattern or one design positioned on each cut bag.

Check the Tubing on Your Hand Sealer

Send the sealer make and model and its accepted film range. Ask for a material sample to check the seal before committing to custom print. Run filled samples and inspect them after normal handling.

For a continuous pattern, you have more freedom about where to cut. For a centered design, agree on the repeat and cut position before artwork approval. Show where the seal will cross the printed area so the print and sealing plans can be reviewed together.

Separate Trial Costs From Production

Ask for the sample option and custom-print minimum separately. Include any setup charge and shipping. A short launch still needs production fit confirmed; do not plan a launch date around an assumed stock color or custom minimum.

Request a printed tubing review from Prime Film. Include expected bag count and whether you expect repeat orders. Our sample and trial guide explains how to keep the approval tied to the material tested.
